There are two things in life that my parents always made sure I took care of. 1) my teeth and 2) my finances. I ‘ve always brushed my teeth twice a day and always tried to keep track of where my money is going. As I’ve grown older I’ve made sure to carry on those lessons. The former is pretty easy, but the later…well that sometimes needs some more work.
No lie, I’ve been using Mint ever since I graduated college and needed to start paying some real bills. As we enter the new year, one of your resolutions is prob to get your bank account looking right and this is a great app to help. One of my favorite features is the budgeting tool. I tend to go a little overboard with eating out and taking cabs so it’s a great to help me dial back on all that. Some other poppin features include integrated bill pay, free credit score updates, and the ability to categorize every single transaction. Mint also just added bill pay which makes life 10x easier. I’m talking expedited payments, smart reminders, and incredibly easy onboarding. (Who knew being an adult could kinda be easy?)
Between decorating my new place, paying student loans, and saving for a big pimpin’ vacation, Mint helps me keep an eye (or 2) on exactly where my money is going. That all being said, I highly recommend you check them out at Mint.com and see what all the hype is about. (Fun fact: fiscal responsibility is surprisingly dope.)
This post was brought to you by the good folks at Mint but all opinions stated are my own. (Including the 90s hip hop reference in the title.)
