It’s almost time for America’s birthday. And to celebrate the country I love/hate (30%/70%), I created a mix to get your groove on at your rooftop parties, BBQs, or a home writing a thinkpiece about how no one is truly free in the USA. Enjoy some bangers from today and yesteryear. Personally, I like listening to it on shuffle. I’ll probably be adding to it all weekend so feel free to leave suggests in the comments or talk to me on Twitter.
Since Independence Day is this week I picked up a sneaker with a patriotic edge without being cheesy. These New Balances are the perfect mix of red, white, and blue and can be mixed into most wardrobes.
Check out how I would style them on the 4th of July below:
I spent this 4th of July weekend in suburban New Jersey with my fam. There weren’t too many major fashion moments this weekend but I had to get dressed up to honor our founding fathers & the 235th birthday of the USA.
