Roberto Cavalli Spring 2012 Runway Review

I unfortunately didn’t get to watch this show live but by the pictures I can tell that the Mens Roberto Cavalli Spring 2012 collection  was certainly eye-catching Continue reading

BUY IT: Topman Chino Shorts

As  the temperature steadily rises I have realized there is a major summer staple missing from my wardrobe: shorts! As a WASP originally from Jersey, I have the typical pair of pattern and cargo shorts that hit right at or under the knee. As this is my 2nd official summer in the city I have decided to donate these shorts and am now only left with the 2 neon pairs that I bought right after seeing the Jil Sander S/S 2011 show.

A perfect pair of this season hit just above the knee and don’t give you a feminine shape. I’ve been scrounging around store to store to find a pair that both fits my aesthetic and price range (seeing that I’d want to get multiple pairs.)

These Topman chinos are absolute perfection and super affordable.  (Totaling at $50 a pair)  They come look super comfortable and come in a variety of colors. They are nice enough to wear to work and transition into the night without looking like a huge slob.

I’m all about them and cant wait to pick up a pair or two (or three or four.)

A Mister’s Guide To Easter Sunday Mass

If you hadn’t noticed all the store displays, abundance of candy, and students being out of school then you might not know that Easter is happening this Sunday. For some it may mean going to church for the first time this year, having a eater egg hunt with family & friends, or just going out for a nice brunch to enjoy another Sunday. This post is focusing on church wear. Continue reading

MISTER TRENDS: Neon Lights

This week’s trend is Neon Lights. This translates into big and bold colors all over the place.

The designer inspiration comes from Jil Sander‘s Spring/Summer 2011 men collection which features bright neons on everything from sweaters,  to trousers, and outerwear.

For your tops look no further than a PS by Paul Smith crew neck. If you need a lower price point than an bright green H&M button down shirt will do the trick.

Since you can’t walk out pants less this spring it’s only right that you go bright on your bottom. You can get some great trousers and shorts from Diesel. If you’re going to take a dip in the water or just want to look good on the beach or poolside an Orlebar Brown swimsuit will help you out.

The biggest way to transform style is through accessories. This being said you can brighten up a rather dark outfit with the following accouterments.  You can throw own a classic pair of Ray-Bans with a pop or even a Nixon watch. To top everything off you can splurge on a pair of Prada Creepers.
