True life: I can’t stop dressing monochromatically. Not sure if MTV would pick that episode up, but it’d probably feature a scene of me sobbing uncontrollably into a limited edition bomber while surrounded by black, grey, and navy clothes all over the floor. Well now that I’ve taken you down the dark rabbit hole that is my imagination, I’ve really been into rocking camel. While the camel coat is always a must have, the tan-ish tones can be seen more and more in apparel and I’m not mad about it. While I wanted to (per usual) rock one hue,I think the black jeans break the outfit in a good way. While you don’t have to be camel all the way down to the socks, I’d def recommending picking up some pieces while we can still enjoy (I use that word lightly) the spring weather.
The rainy season might be the only thing worse than the brick winter. Before you call me out on this one, I’d rather take being cold and wrapped up in a million layers over being wet and having to save my good fits for another day. A dope jacket can be the beacon of hope during the bleak time. Take a look above at some of my faves from East Dane.
To call the bomber the “it” piece of the season is an understatement. (Also lame because who still refers to things as the “it” thing?) This jacket style has been ubiquitously seen over every runway show and in every F/W editorial. We’ve all been waiting for jacket season so you might as well step your game up; I know I’m trying to. Check out some of my fave bombers from East Dane above and below.
We’ve got less than a month before Labor Day which means there’s still time to don your whites before an old bitty named Buffy or Bunny scoffs you for a fashion faux pas. As a messy eater and general train wreck, I personally have avoided the white on white on white on white look, but the more I see the coke boy trend happen (I don’t even know why someone named it that) the more I get into it. It’s summertime so there’s no better time to don your crisps whites before it starts to look like the opening scene from Fargo.
You can try mixing some black pieces in there for a contrast, but that won’t get you into my friend Sean’s yacht party in Ibiza. You know, Puff Daddy?
