Any day that has a hint of Spring is a good one. You know you’ve had a rough Winter when 50 degree weather has people coming out in shorts and sandals. (Note: Those people are awful and need to step it up in general.)

On those nicer days I tend to dream of the West Coast. Being a typical 90′s kid, I associated Cali with graphic tees, mirrored wayfarers and plaid shirts ties around the waist.(Basically what any teenage character wore in a sitcom during that era.)

Though my view may be skewed, (and it usually is) it is never to early to don your neons. Even the New York Times is on board.

Bonus points if you get the reference in my title and corresponding video below:

Yesterday kicked off the mens’ trade show season in NYC. Think of a regular fashion week on Lance Armstrong steroids. I’m talking a million appointments, endless photos, a test of time management, and of course #menswear.

I took it real light the first day and kept my cool (because I certainly wasn’t warm due to the dropping weather) in this ensemble.

Be sure to follow me on Twitter, Tumblr & Instagram to experience all the mens trade shows through my eyes.

8 Belts That Need To Be Holding Up My Pant NOW

Here’s a little known fact about me: I have a terrible time finding pants in my size. When you’re a girl and you’re 5’7 and skinny finding clothes is pretty much awesome, that case is not the same when you’re a guy. That being said I always have a hard time finding pants that appropriately fit my waist. I’ve gotten better with it after my move to NYC but i still have/wear pants pants that are a littte ill fitting.

I’m a self described “hoarder” and will never get rid of a pair. The only solution I can think of to keep my pants from flying off would be belts. Not just any belts but ones. Read my picks below:

1. Dolce & Gabbana ($345)
2. Nooka ($50)
3. Salvatore Ferragamo ($290)
4. Zara ($40)
5. Quiksilver ($24)
6. Etro ($270)
7. Paul Smith ($460)
8. Cole Haan ($78)

A Mister’s Guide To Beating The Heat

Now while most of us wait all year for summer to come around we usually forget how hot it can get. That being said it can seem daunting to look both stylish and cool in the rising temperatures. We’re here to show you a couple essentials on beating the heat and keeping your cool. Continue reading

Red Hot Chilli Pepper

I know I know. Long time no blog. I’ve honestly been super busy what with moving out of Tribeca, work, and blah blah blah. You’re not reading this to see me blather on about my ridiculous life. I decided to come back from my mini hiatus with a bang and this red-hot ensemble.

Outfit Details:
Sweatshirt: From middle school gym uniform
Pants: Old Navy
Hat: Quiksilver
Shoes: Quiksilver
Sunglasses: 21Men

It was one of those 70 something degree days last week in the city so I decided to ditch my favorite H&M bomber for something a little lighter. I love wearing anything from my childhood and I can remember wearing this sweatshirt in gym class during my tenure at St. Theresa’s  School in suburban NJ. I wanted to let my accessories do the talking so I paired the sweatshirt with some casual khakis on bottom. To add some spice and pattern, I donned my favorite animal print hat and buffalo plaid  booties.

It’s incredibly hard to pick a favorite piece out of this outfit. If anything I would definitely have to say it was the sweatshirt. I’ve diagnosed myself as a hoarder and it makes me feel better to know that I can actually use the thing I hold on to. Not to mention that it’s weird to think that I really haven’t grown since middle school.
